Furnished room in Copenhagen near Hellerup Train Station - and Hellerup Beach - for rent from September or October 1.st 2025

We have a furnished room - 12 sqm - with access to shared facilities available for rent in our beautiful house in Hellerup / Copenhagen (commune), few minutes walk from Hellerup Station (few minutes drive by train to Kgs. Lyngby / DTU and to Copenhagen City), several busses (e.g. busses 1A, 21, 23, 164, 171, 192).

Hellerup is an area with beautiful and exclusive houses and lots of embassies and green surroundings located 10 minutes drive north of Copenhagen City and in biking distance from e.g. UN City, Copenhagen City and DTU.

Our house is situated few minutes walk from Hellerup Beach, lots of supermarkedets, bakers and excellent shopping possibilities, the main Library in Gentofte Commune, fitness center, cafes and restaurants.

The monthly rent for the room is DKK 5.500 for 1 person. The room is available from September or October 1st 2025.

The rent includes heating, water, electricity and WIFI / fast Internet.

CPR registration are of course available.

You will pay 2 months rent as a deposit when you are booking the room. And you will pay 1 month rent in advance just before moving in.

Your room and all shared rooms / facilities seems new and newly painted in white and light colors (Scandinavian Style) and with heating in the floor.

As shared facilities you will find a kitchen, fully equipped with a dining table and chairs. As shared facilities you will also find a bath room with shower, toilet, zink and a washing machine.

Your bike, if you bring one, can stay dry below a half roof in the garden - not inside the house. If you bring a car you can park it for free just outside our house (we will help you applying for a free parking place).

We rent out two separate rooms with access to shared facilities. You and the other tenant will tidy up after yourselves and you will keep shared rooms and facilities nice and clean on a daily basis.

We have rented out rooms in our house since we bought it in 2001. Most of our tenants are young people from abroad typically Ph.D. or researcher, but people with all sort of career and age are very welcome. If it is possible we will try to find a new tenant who match our tenant, Timo - a ph.d now working at a tech-start-up at DTU, 29 years old and from Germany.

You will share entrance, kitchen, toilet, bathroom and washing machine with Timo. Now and then we leave for a getaway to our Summerhouse, and then you are always welcome to use our garden. We will let you know.

If you like what you see and read here, we will invite you to visit us seeing the room and shared facilities - and to meet our tenant, Timo, whom you will be sharing kitchen and bathroom with.You will also meet my husband and I - as the landlords. The room is available from September or October 1st but we hope to end all visits here, interviews and the contract ASAP.

My husband and I are living in the villa apartment on the first and second floor. We have our own entrance, kitchen, bathroom, toilet and washing machine.

We will not allow pets or smoking in the house or in the garden.

We follow Danish renting praxis and law. And you will have a contract.
